Power times four
Diesel engines are lame ducks, basically. It's the turbo chargers that make them the high-performance power machines they are. But what exactly are turbochargers? And why are ABB Turbo System's machines, which had been highly renowned when still branded «BBC», the leading products worldwide?
This film of 1990 tells the story. It was one of our first corporate videos and it could as well be listed under Miscellaneous & history. The world has changed massively over the years, of course, and nobody watches VHS cassettes anymore. Many things look quite different today, but the film is still valid.
In 1992 we were commissioned to produce a video on ABB Turbo System's worldwide service network.
In 1996, ATS wanted a new corporate video. They had someone else to do the script. We produced it and it cost a comparable amount of money but, in the end, everybody felt that the old film had served its purpose better.
